Rozijnenbrood




What do you need?

  • 500 gr flour
  • 100 ml warm water water (+/- 35 degrees Celcius)
  • 200 ml soy milk (plain or vanilla flavor)
  • 40 gr vanilla sugar
  • 350 gr raisins
  • 60 gr vegan butter
  • 3 tbsp flax seed + 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp gluten
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp vanilla flavor
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
Yeast, water and sugar
Add the sugar to the warm water and stirr
Add the yeast and stirr again Let it rest for 10 mins

Flax egg: Use a mortar and pestle to grind the flaxseed Add 3 tbsp of water You can also use a blender instead
Raisin bread: Put the flour, gluten, vanilla flavor, lemon juice and the yeast mix together and knead Add the butter. Knead again Add the raisins, soymilk and knead Add flax egg and salt

Knead for a few minutes Let it rest for 30 mins on a warm spot (we used the oven at 35 degrees C) Knead again for a few minutes Put the dough into a baking mold Let it rest for another 60 minutes on a warm spot Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celcius Bake for 15 mins at 180 degrees Turn the bread and bake another 25-35 mins at 170 degrees
